Open Toi et Moi ring - Yellow Sapphire

A stunning couppling of a pear shape lab grown diamond and a honey yellow sappire resting elegantly between the fingers. Set in a hand crafted mount of your choice of 18ct or 9ct yellow gold.
 
This fresh new twist on a classic Toi et Moi ring was born from an idea rooted in an everyday occurance in the jewellery trade. When viewing stones to buy, I would place them between my fingers on the back of my hand, this insures the stones stay clean and minimises the chances of dropping them.  This practice has been used to view stones for generations and is the best way to visualise how then will look on the skin. I love the way stones look scattered loosly across a flat serface and wated to create this same feeling across the hand with very minimal metal showing. 
 
Diamond: 8x6mm, D-F colour, SI1, 8x6mm, roughly 0.70ct.
Sapphire: Yellow, 7x5mm, roughly 0.80ct.
 
The stones are all hand set, it comes fully Hallmarked and polished to perfection in our small London workshop. 
 
Each ring is hand made to order. We always use the highest quality stones in our pieces, however no two stones are ever identical so the sapphire may differ slightly to images on website. Get in touch if you'd like to hand select your sapphire stone.
